The South Indian short film makers association, shortly called SISMA is an
Organization started by young entrepreneurs with an aim to support, develop
Short film makers and associated technicians, and to bring their hidden talent
and creation to limelight.
This association, a non partial- non-profitable structure operates with the main aim of portraying the short film Industry in proper perspective to people and integrating the short film developers, technicians and artists by providing all possible assistance as a regulated body.
The primary Goal also includes providing opportunity for short filmmakers
Participation in National and International level.
The organization also conducts seminars and workshops on short film development
And allied fields, thereby creating interest among youth for their participation in this arena.
Providing opportunities in this field for women, downtrodden and handicap people has always been a prime interest of the association.
In an act of encouraging short film makers, the association selects the best short films ,technicians, artists and honour them annually.
The recent technological development has made short film making process an affordable one for any individual. And a tremendous boom in short film industry is happening.
At this juncture, an organized structure to handle and support a growing division is utmost necessary and Here we are, as an association doing the needful.
With the vision of future, under the able guidance of Veterans, the association is growing to achieve more in short film industry in the near future.
